Lovin' the runnin'

First really cold run of the season this morning. 30 degrees when we started, but bundled up warmly. Every weekend, the road through the Rock Creek Park, which runs north/south through DC to Maryland is closed to traffic, so we runners and cyclists get this gorgeous urban park to ourselves. In winter, it's only the hardy athletes out, so it's a wonderful feeling to run in the peace and quiet with the trees and the river alongside the road.
