Another one in the bag

Rocky start to the day - very physical swim and uncontollable shivering on the first few miles of the run. Things picked up and in the end I not only had awesome fun, but I felt incredibly strong on the run. I think I've finally conquered the Mooseman course.

More to come, but as a teaser ...

Note to all Recreational Vehice drivers - don't honk a triathlete unless you want to watch her ass window shop for the next five miles.

Is it extra good luck if you save a black cat from being run over?

Wearing a grass skirt on a half Ironman is liberating as is dancing to bongo drums and stripping on the finish line. Poorly, I hasten to add, but at least I tried.

6:39:20 - very nearly a course record for me. Now ... onto Placid.

There was nothing poor about that finish line dance! Great job on your race!
