- Hearing a cheer from a contingent of Team Zers standing waist deep in 58 degree water as I ran by with a mile and a half to go on the half marathon
- Hearing the biggest cheer of my life from the balcony of the brew pub as I rolled in at the end of the 112 mile bike ride. I'm not sure that some Team Zers didn't stay there the entire weekend.
- Riding up to LP and back again with Matt F and Scott, who kept me entertained with all sorts of illegal driving and geek speak.
- Discussing with my housemates whether or not the woman can be the big spoon.
- Discussing whether or not any of us had worn our heart rate monitors during sex.
- Hearing about Matt W's ambitions to be a pole vaulter and the size of his pole.
- Having my single, precious, ice cold bottle of cider dangled outside a moving vehicle at mile 105. I think this was supposed to inspire me to cycle faster.
