The crowd goes wild

Hi, Mark here. Since I'm going to be guest blogging during the race I thought I'd test out the technology and also see if my thumb typing skills have improved enough to enable me to form complete sentences. So far so good.

Mary's blogs are all pretty self-absorbed at the moment. I dunno, with this IM thing it's all "me me me.". So let's talk about something else.

Lake Placid is already pretty crazy - a resort town at the height of the season, on steroids. Cars everywhere, runners and cyclists everywhere. So far people still seem to be amazingly courteous.

Garth, Mel, and I are getting our final few supporter workouts in. We did a drive/hike/drive brick today and are making sure we stay well hydrated (the beer and wine supplies are holding up). It is going to be a long day but I think we're ready.
