"Just suck it up and do it"

Those were the words of my orthopedic surgeon this afternoon when we talked about how best to cope with swimming and cycling in the race. I love this guy.

The good news is that I have the splint off and am instructed to work weights to work on my range of motion. He doesn't want me to swim yet, so I'll have a grand total of six days to get back in the water before the race.
